Although Feast is fairly self-explanatory, here is a guide to answer a few frequently-asked questions.
Feast!
Joining Feast
When a Feast is scheduled, a gold shield will appear in the skills / talents / events area in the lower-right corner.
When Feast starts, the gold Feast shield will get an action marker (yellow exclamation mark). Also, a notification will appear in both State Chat and Alliance Chat.
Note: You must be HQ 20+ to join Feasts.
When you click on the Feast shield, it shows all available feasts. There can be up to 3 feasts concurrently, because your state is part of three groups:
- A “Foothold” is a group of about 64 states, and there are 15 footholds. After the first war, the Born Leader of each foothold can schedule a feast.
- A “Fort” is a group of about 5 footholds (320-ish states), and there are 3 forts. After the second war, the Renowned Ruler of a fort can also schedule a feast.
- After the third war, the Iconic Champion (all states) can also schedule a feast.
You can enter or exit any active feast at any time. So if two or more overlap, you can go back and forth by exiting one feast, then joining the other by clicking the “Congratulate” button.
In the example above, there are two feasts.
- The Fort Ruler is currently holding a Grand Feast that’s open for the next 54 minutes.
- The Iconic Champion has scheduled a Grand Feast that will start in 10 hours, 54 minutes.
Since each ruler can schedule their feasts independent of the others, they may occur at odd times based on the ruler’s time zone, or overlap.
There are 3 types of Feasts which determines the length of the feast:
- Grand Feast lasts 60 minutes
- Deluxe Feast Lasts 45 minutes
- Common Feast Lasts 30 minutes
When you enter the feast, you are in for quite a spectacle.
Feast Controls
- At the top, the host’s title, name, and the type of feast is displayed.
- Below that is the timer, showing the remaining time left for the feast.
- At the end of the feast, you will be returned home automatically.
- You can’t join a rally while you are attending feast, but you can easily return home, join, then re-enter the feast.
- Unlike other events such as Nuka or Res War, joining feast will NOT cause your troops to be returned, nor will it affect any troops that are gathering.
- The first thing you want to do when you join is click the red gift to sign in, and you will be given a sign-in reward
- As more people sign in, this unlocks sign-in reward phases, which you can claim by clicking the Feast Sign-In button.
Keep checking periodically to make sure you claim all available rewards.
- Next to the red box is a blue box. This is a personal feast reward that reoccurs periodically.
- There is a Feast Gift Box icon on the lower-left. When you open this, you can claim feast gifts that other players have sent by buying feast boxes.
Higher level boxes give higher-level gifts, and each of the four tiers has a gift cap.
Once the cap is reached for a given tier, you can no longer claim gifts of that tier (they won’t be visible to you).
Feast Gifts maxes out at 50 pages, so you want to claim them early and often. - The Feast Packs button allows you to buy 4 types of packs, and any time anyone buys a pack, it sends a gift to all attendees (see Feast Gifts, above).
- The yellow arrow at the bottom-right allows you to exit the feast, returning you to your sanctuary. You may enter and exit any feast while it is in progress, as many times as you want.
Feast Strategies
- Follow this specific sequence to maximize your chances of getting the most rewards:
- Because the Feast Gifts fills up quickly and maxes at 50 pages, be sure to collect this first.
- Then click the red box to sign in.
- Then collect the blue feast reward.
- Then collect the sign-in rewards.
2. Your chances of getting the Gold / Platinum (upper tier) gifts are better if you join the feast with the greatest scope, which is the Iconic Champion feast. This includes every eligible state within the game. These also tend to max out sign-in reward phases due to the higher attendance. Deluxe vs Grand is the amount of time, not the quality of the rewards. So, I would attend an Iconic Deluxe feast over a Renowned Grand feast, for example. The Renowned feast is still pretty good, and you can attend both, but make sure you get the rewards from the Iconic feast first.
3. This is a great place to get Marks of Glory and Gear Refiners. Take your main(s) first, then cycle through all of your farms so that they all get some of the rewards. Then, I like to swing through with my main accounts like 5 minutes before it ends to see if I can pick up any more Gold / Platinum gifts, and sign-in rewards.
